Morozov Believed to Have Concussion
At the beginning of the game against Sweden, Russian National Team captain Aleksey Morozov took a very rough hit from Swedish defender Douglas Murray. As a result, Morozov left the ice and could not continue playing.
After this episode a fight ensued on the ice, as a result of which Russian forward Ilya Kovalchuk and Swedish defender Anton Strohlman were suspended until the end of the game, as was Douglas Murray, the Swedish defender who injured our captain.
As reported by TV station "Sport", it is believed that Morozov has suffered a concussion..
